Data Retention Policy

This policy explains how long PaidLens retains different categories of data and how deletion works after account closure, customer termination, or deletion requests.

1. Retention Schedule

• Customer Data: Retained while the subscription is active. After termination, data remains available for export for 30 days and is then deleted from production systems within 90 days.
• User account data: Retained while the user account is active. Deleted or anonymized within 30 days after user deletion unless needed for legal, security, or audit reasons.
• Audit logs: Retained for up to 24 months to support security, compliance, dispute resolution, and administrative accountability.
• Application logs: Retained for up to 12 months for troubleshooting, performance monitoring, fraud prevention, and security investigation.
• Support records: Retained for up to 36 months to provide continuity of support and maintain business records.
• Billing records: Retained for the period required by accounting, tax, and legal obligations.
• Backups: Deleted or overwritten within 90 days after deletion from production systems, unless required for security or legal preservation.

2. Customer Export

Customers may request export of their Customer Data before termination or during the 30-day export window after termination. Export formats may include CSV, Excel, or other formats supported by the Service.

3. Deletion Requests

Authorized administrators may request deletion of Customer Data by contacting support. PaidLens may require verification of authority before processing deletion requests.

4. Exceptions

PaidLens may retain data beyond the periods above where necessary to comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, investigate abuse, prevent fraud, or maintain security and audit records.
